Best Brownies

I have to say we REALLY love brownies over here.

For years I had always used the fancy mixes but since we have got away from packaged and processed foods I figured it was high time I found a recipe that I could make from scratch and that met our needs.

We only like dark chocolate over here so that was priority one.

We also like a more gooey brownie instead of a "cake like" one.

After many trials and errors (ok who am I kidding...are there any errors when it comes to brownies?) we have this recipe.

It is a soft brownie without being super gooey (you know that almost uncooked center some have...yuck)

The best part is the tops have a bit of a shiny "crisp" on them.

Sadly we can finish off a batch pretty darn fast. Good thing they are so easy to make.

3/4 C Flour
1/3 C + 3 TBSP Dark Coco
1/4 + 1/8 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 + 1/8 tsp Salt

3/4 C Vegetable Oil
1 1/2 C Sugar
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
3 Eggs

* Heat oven to 325
* In a bowl mix the dry ingredients (flour, coco, baking powder, & salt)
* Whisk together
* In a large bowl add oil, sugar, & vanilla (cream together)
* Add eggs (mix well to creamed sugar)
* Mix in dry ingredients (mix well)
* Pour in greased 8 X 8 pan
* Cook for 40 min (or until a toothpick comes out clean)

**Makes (9)  2.5in X 2.5in brownies
