Father's Day...

So for Mother's Day we got to move to another state.....

For Father's Day it was nothing as exciting...

We decided to take a drive up to Park City since there were two skate parks D wanted to try out. Needless to say it was super hot and windy. Not to mention that it was "go skate day" and so much more crowded then normal. So skating was a bit of a bust that day. However we did get a nice little drive in and saw some sights.

The whole ride though the canyon we were all in awe of how green everything was (we are still use to the brown dead California roadsides) All the green was so beautiful!

ON the way to one of the parks we passed Memorial Hill so on the way back we figured we would check it out...

The view of the valley from there was AMAZING!

At the top they had a monument (I think that is what it would be called) of all the local people who served our country over the years. There were SOOOOOOO many from that valley that fought in WW2.

There was also this sculptures that I liked......and with the wind the dog tags were really clnaking (kinda making it eerie)

The road up and down was a bit sketchy (I don't think 2 cars could have passed at the same time so I was happy that it wasn't a popular spot on that day)  But at the bottom there was a field full of cows grazing. This guy cracked me up because he was stretching his neck as far as he could to get "the good stuff" and then could hardly get his head/horns back in when we was done...Silly cow!
