This year Halloween held allot of "firsts" for us...
* First Halloween party for V
* First time Trick or Treating with friends (no parents)
* First time we have have not ran out of candy
The gang all got together for a night of fun and festivities.
And more hanging out ....just waiting for it to get dark.
Finally it was dark enough to go out...
It was a bit stressing and scary for me. Especially since last year 3 teens were struck down while out on Halloween right by our house.
But he is growing up...
I sent him with a good head on his shoulders & a blinding flashlight in his hand.
So while he was with friends, me and D were at home waiting to give out candy...WAITING was the key word there.
We had a total of 8 kids...SOOOOO much different then the 1000s that we would get back in Orange.
But that's how it goes...and I have candy to last us for a year.
At 8:30 we called it a night and headed on over to the party to hang out with friends while the kids were still out on their candy hunt.
A great night was had by all.
V came home with a huge bag of candy and over 15K steps logged (who knows where all they walked to)
What a great way to wrap up October!
