Grand Tetons

The final leg of our trip was the Grand Tetons.

The drive from our camp gave us the perfect vantage point of the whole range.

This was by far one of the best parts of the trip.

We all were instantly at peace with the mellow vibe that it had to offer.

A much longer trip needs to be booked here.

First off it was just a fraction of the population that we had experienced at Yellowstone.

Also... well it is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!

The lakes were so peaceful.

And so many trails and bike paths.

We even made some friends.

This is by far one of our favorite National Parks so far!

We had a great day just exploring around and decompressing after Yellowstone.

We are already looking forward to our next visit.

On the way home we went though Jackson Hole.

We had been wanting to visit for quite a while and finally made it.

It is a cool little town, full of cowboy and funky stuff.

Lots of restaurants, bars and art galleries. It almost reminded me of Laguna Beach (but in the mountains)

We stopped for pizza, coffee and some shenanigans before heading on home.

We will be back for another visit...maybe in fall or early winter.

Along the way home we took the backroads, and got to travel though many small towns...it felt epic but it was scenic to say the least.

Wyoming is really beginning to grow on me...we still have many places to check out and explore before our next move....But I have really been enjoying Wyoming.

We passed by Bear Lake and decided to stop in the little town for some much needed dinner...we were crashing.

D had seen this little place and boy he made a great choice!

It was 9pm but you wouldn't have known....it was popping.

No wonder...the food was delish

The whole area had a Balboa feel to it...very "beachy" and vacationy.

This place next door wasn't as busy but it had cool deco all the same.

After our tanks were filled we finished the last of our journey home.

It felt great to be home and to have a proper shower.

But we cant wait to get back out and on our next adventure!
